SPRUCE RESIN
Spruce is a common European evergreen species. Due to its rapid growth and straight trunks, it is often grown in forestry monocultures. It produces a lot of resin, which exudes wherever the tree has been injured. It acts as an instant plaster and prevents pathogens from infecting the wound.
In the past, it was sometimes used to adulterate Frankincense and other expensive resins. It was also used to produce natural chewing gum.
Magical useThe resin can be used in incense blends for purification purposes and for healing rituals
