LABDANUM RESINOID

This sticky, resinous substance derives from an intensely aromatic Mediterranean species of Rock Rose (Cistus). When the spring sun warms the garrigue covered hills the air is delightfully scented with this warm balsamic fragrance. Throughout the Mediterranean region people have long valued this natural perfume. The sweet, vanilla like aroma is deeply sensuous, almost intoxicating and opens the gates to the realms of the imagination.
